TOYS FOR TOTS RECOGNIZES MILFORD EXTERMINATING

Milford Exterminating, Inc, has been recognized by the Area Toys for Tots Program for their on-going support. Milford Exterminating donates the very large warehouse space on Lincoln Street in Milford needed to store and distribute Toys for Tots to over 48 area towns.

Area Toys for Tots Coordinator Stephanie Tocchi said "Because of the very generous space donation from Milford Exterminating, our area Toys for Tots Program was able to distribute toys to a record number 10,000 children during this past holiday season."

Steven Mazzuchelli of Milford Exterminating said "At a time when his business usually slows down a bit because of the cold weather, we think it's great seeing all the workers hustling and bustling about sorting toys and answering the phones, filling the thousands of requests for desperately needed toys for under privileged children. This is what the Holidays are all about, and we are committed to the Toys for tots Program for as long as we are able."

Milford Exterminating customers can always give any new unused toys to Milford Exterminating technicians during any service call or can feel free to come down to their office and drop them off. Of course, during the holidays, the Toys for Tots program sets up drop off centers throughout their service area.

12/2003 Milford Exterminating was proud to donate it’s very large warehouse space on Lincoln Street this fall and winter to the local Toys for Tots sponsored by the Marine Corps. Reserve.After researching for different ways to give back to the community, the Mazzuchellis were approached by Bob and Stephanie Tocchi, Toys for Tots Coordinators for the greater Milford area, regarding donating the much needed space to store and distribute from literally thousands of toys for needy children for the Christmas Holidays. This, they decided would be a perfect way to help out the community, so Milford Exterminating hustled and bustled with the excitement of holiday cheer. The USMC also has a special place in the Mazzuchelli family. There oldest son, Steven, returned home for good in June 2003, after having served in combat in Iraq with the Marine Corps., Alpha Company, Third Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion out of 29 Palms, California . Over 300 guests celebrated his welcome home party!

Toys for Tots are always looking for volunteers especially to answer phones and take orders. This year the requests started coming in as early as September!!!! If you would like to volunteer an hour or so a week, please call our office and we will pass you name on to the Coordinators. Our Lincoln Street Toys for Tots office served 46 towns in the Milford area.
